| Spring, also sometimes called The Afterlife singuarly, is a sort of purgatory or "waiting room" for recently departed souls. It mirrors the mortal world but with long-decayed buildings and with a thick layer of white fog clinging low to the snow-covered floor, the sky pitch black and with one star for every soul. There is no colour in Spring, only shades of grey, and shadows are inverted. This gives the entire realm a liminal and eerie feeling, setting off panic in those who end up here.
